- Material and grade or class — as your drawings specify
- Section — diameter, or both outside dimensions, plus wall thickness
- Length per piece, and whether cut lengths are required
- Quantity in the unit you actually buy — tonnes, pieces, bags, running metres
- Delivery location and site access
- Who unloads, and the date it is needed on site

Why wall thickness matters so much
Two tubes of the same outside size at different wall thicknesses are different products at different weights and different prices. An enquiry giving only the outside size cannot be quoted, and the reply is a question rather than a price.

Why quotations carry a validity period
Material and transport pricing can change. The quotation states its applicable validity period. Current rates may need to be reconfirmed after that period. That is normal for these materials rather than a hedge.

What if I do not know the grade?
Say so. Where drawings specify one we quote to it; where they do not, tell us the application and we will discuss options. On reinforcement, grade is a structural decision and stays yours.
