- Effective cover width and the length per sheet
- Roof length and rafter length per slope, and the number of slopes
- Colour or coating, and thickness or gauge
- Accessories needed: ridges, flashings, gutters, closures and fixings
- Delivery location, site access and who unloads
- The date it is needed on site
