How do I work out the weight of a square tube?
Cross-sectional area times length times density. For a square hollow section that is (A² − (A − 2t)²) × length × 7850 kg/m³.

What wall thickness should I use?
That follows what the section has to carry, which is a design question rather than a supply one. Where drawings or an engineer specify it, we quote to that. Where they do not, tell us the application and we will discuss options — but the structural decision stays yours.
